Keibu

Tiny Tigers

Grading / Assessment

A qualified Keibu Kan Examiner with a minimum of regional qualification will carry out the assessment.

By using the merit badge system for our Tiny Tigers we have managed to keep costs very low and this is reflected in the grading fee of £7 which will include a free belt merit badge and certificate.

The merit badge should be sewn onto the Tiny Tigers T-shirt. You can sew it on the front or the sleeves.

The bonus badges are now free.

The grading / assessment syllabus is kept by the instructor and now on the web site. Students should practice at home all that they have learnt in the lessons.

When the Tiny Tiger goes into the regular class they will transfer their Tiny Tigers grade for an appropriate grade within the regular class.

The Grading / assessment is on top of your monthly training fees.

Tiny Tigers are also able to grade at the main Keibu Kan dojo for all gradings, the Keibu Kan Odiham dojo.

Those that grade at Odiham will be able to train at the pre-grading lesson for free.

Bonus badges,

These can be assessed during belt assessment or on there own.

Stance badges should be for good stance, maybe 10 sec.

Technique badges should be for good technique, maybe 5 good ones.

If you try for a bonus badge on its own without doing the full grading, you will not have to pay the £7 assessment fee.

The grading results will be announced at the lesson. Students will then be awarded their certificate and badge/badges at the following lesson.

Students receive their new belt badge and certificate at the Keibu Kan Awards Evenings. Details will be in the news letter.
